Dates: 16-19 AUGUST 2019 Location: MOURNE MOUNTAINS, NORTHERN IRELAND
Join Running Adventures for a weekend of trail running in the stunning area of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. We will enjoy some stunning trail runs around the beautiful Tollymore Forest Park and into the Mourne Mountains themselves. We will even take on Slieve Donard, the highest peak in Northern Ireland. Accommodation will be in the Tollymore National Outdoor Centre (nr Newcastle), allowing us to access the trails straight from the front door.
The Mourne Mountains are the highest and most dramatic mountain range in Northern Ireland, its summits crowned by granite tors. The mountains themselves are criss-crossed by an unrivalled network of paths and tracks. Any newcomer to the Mournes will be simply amazed at the variety of landscapes that can be encountered within such a confined geographical area.
This running weekend will combine epic trail running with time spent enjoying the company of fellow runners from London City Runners.
Please be advised: This weekend is for London City Runners members ONLY.
