Running Adventures are delighted to be hosting London City Runners for a brilliant weekend of trail running fun in the beautiful Peak District.
Your host for the weekend will be experienced Salomon athlete and trail running coach; Matt Buck, who will guide you through some wonderful Peak District trails, showing you the best of the area.
This weekend will combine some epic trail running, exploring the area around Hathersage, Eyam and Stanage Edge. We will spend the weekend running breathtaking trails as well as finding time to relax. Not only will you get to enjoy some wonderful guided trail runs, but the weekend will also give you the chance to get all your trail running questions answered.
We will stay in the Hathersage YHA, allowing us direct access to a number of amazing trails (and pubs!). Hathersage is accessible via train from London in approx 2.5 hours.

Monday - Meet at 2pm in Hathersage - 10 mile run with stops for trail running technical coaching around the 'plague village' of Eyam - Claim your bunk at the hostel - Dinner in the hostel (included)
Saturday - Breakfast (included) - 10 mile trail run visiting Little John's grave, Robin Hood's cave, Stanage Edge and Bamford Edge - Afternoon - Optional 10km run or free time to hike, chill or visit the local pub - Celebration drinks in local pub - Dinner in The Little John Hotel (included) Sunday - Breakfast (included) - 10km run exploring the River Noe and surrounding area - Say our goodbyes

Thisisnotarace!We willstayasagroupsoifyouareafasterrunner,pleaseexpectto run slowerthanyouwouldnormally.Previoustrailrunningexperienceisnotnecessary. The terrainwillbe hillyandvaried.Theviewswillbeincredible. You should be able to cover the distances at a pace of at least 10-11 min/miles to enjoy this event (equivalent of a 4:30 marathon).
